For phones and and charging for my camera or electronic translator?

I assume there will be in public places to charge ?

Normally in each room you find one or two sockets for your own, japanese fitting, plug.
Do not expect them to have a charger for you.
I took with me a multi-usb charger, so that I was able to charge my 2 phones and 2 other batteries using a single plug.

Some convenience stores may have a corner with tables, but I never checked if they have a socket available.

Thank I have 2 chargers for non UK sockets as I will need as my portable wifi for updating my Facebook as I walk but also to use the internet or if someone needs to contact me via Skype
